International Students

Between 2007-2013, Medisend International returned more than 160 International BMET technicians to work in hospitals and clinics worldwide with the ability to install, repair, maintain and properly use the lifesaving biomedical equipment.  Medisend International technicians are currently working in 23 developing countries helping to improve the quality of life of families and communities around the world.

In 2019, Medisend International was restructured and renamed Medisend College of Biomedical Engineering Technology.

In 2023, Medisend College of Biomedical Engineering Technology was accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET), an accrediting agency continuously recognized by the U.S Department of Education as a reliable authority on educational quality since 1978.

The Medisend College Associate Degree and BMET Certificate Programs are designed to train international technicians from developing country hospitals with intensive hands-on training in laboratories equipped with the latest technologies. Medisend College is a global leader in providing this critical specialized training and education.

The Associate of Applied Science Degree is comprised of 45 Semester Credit Hours of core and advanced technologies (BMET II Certificate) and 15 SCH of General Education. The 45 Semester Credit Hours (SCH) of specialized biomedical engineering technology courses (BMET II Certificate) are offered directly by Medisend College and taught by Medisend College faculty. General Education courses are offered by Medisend College faculty or may be taken  from an accredited institution of higher learning and submitted for transfer credit, subject to approval by the Office of the Registrar.

“Medisend College has a very qualified and cooperative staff, I personally benefited a lot from them. Also, I will never forget the internship with Touchstone Imaging (a Medisend partner). It was a fun and exciting period for me.”
