International Students

Medisend has returned more than 160 BMET technicians to work in hospitals and clinics worldwide with the ability to install, repair, maintain and properly use lifesaving biomedical equipment. Medisend College technicians are currently working in 23 developing countries, including Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Liberia, India, Papua New Guinea and in partnerships with the World Health Organization and Mercy Ships, helping to improve the quality of life of families and communities around the world.

The Medisend College BMET and Associate Degree Programs is designed to train technicians from developing country hospitals with intensive hands-on training in laboratories equipped with the latest technologies. According to the World Health Organization more than 50% of medical equipment in developing country hospitals is broken or unusable because of a severe lack of skilled, trained and well equipped technicians. Medisend College is a global leader in providing this critical specialized training and education.
