Advanced Technologies Certificate Program (ATC)

The Advanced Technologies Certificate is an 18-semester credit Hour (416 clock hours) curriculum that prepares students for technologically advanced employment. It covers the more advanced knowledge and skills required to pursue the most sought-after positions in Health Care technology. Advanced Technology Certificate courses address medical device-related standards and protocols, clinical use of testing and diagnostic instruments, calibration techniques, engineering problem-solving methodologies, fire, chemical, biological, and electrical hazards and related safety precautions, communication and customer support skills, management and leadership skills, and performance assurance-testing procedures. Advanced Technology Certificate courses are taught via a cohort, block schedule of 10 weeks.  All Medisend College courses in the Advanced Technologies Certificate count towards the Associate of Applied Science Degree Program.
