MediSend’s Corporate Development Program seeks to unite financial security for Veterans with education through the General Richard B Myers Biomedical Equipment Technology Program.  This sponsorship funded program provides a highly accelerated training program providing Veterans the skills necessary to secure a job as a Biomedical Technician.

We created the Corporate Development Program for two reasons; first to help Veterans and second to leverage much of the work already being done by corporations with the same goals in mind.  By working together we can more quickly and efficiently help train Veterans and get them working with sustainable jobs.

What we ask of our partners is simple; help get more unemployed Veterans into our program.


Corporate Media Partners

Many corporations have military veterans programs in place, often with messages specifically to that channel.  The effort to help veterans does not end with specifically defined corporate programs.  In fact, corporations can serve a greater good by educating veterans about the General Richard B Myers Veterans program, and encouraging them to apply to the program.

Reach Program Support Elements
  • Six week program (2x per year) to promote the General Myers program to your veterans audience
  • Message inclusion in social media and digital presence (especially Twitter and FB)
  • Integration into your content strategy with goal of reaching 75% of your veterans audience
  • Presence across normal Veterans-facing communications or advertisements
Optional:
  • Graphic with link on your web site to the General Myers Program
  • Paid media or inclusion in paid media reaching veterans
  • Joint mailing effort between two companies
  • Joint press release
How it works:
  1. Corporate Partners promote the General Myers Veterans Program across multiple communication channels and on premise (company offices).
  2. Partners are responsible for reaching the majority of our target audience to promote the program and drive applications in the General Myers Veterans Program. MediSend will provide any literature, PDFs, or web site links that explain the program, all of which will be outlined in a kick-off call with our Partners.
  3. Applicants from each Partner are tracked for success rates and lead generation purposes and shared with our Partners.
  4. MediSend reviews all applications and manages communication with prospect going forward. Applicants that fail to meet entrance criteria will be notified by MediSend with a copy going to our Partner.
  5. Applicants that are accepted to the program are also notified, and presented with next steps to move through the program.
  6. If for any reason the program is no longer equipped to take on additional students, applicants will be wait-listed for the next available semester.

Corporate HR Partners

Many corporations are dedicated to hiring military veterans, but not all veterans match the needs of the HR department.  Connecting job applicants that do not meet these needs with our General Richard B Myers Veterans Program presents veterans with alternative options that lead to job security for them and their families.

Corporate HR Program Support Elements
  • Six week program (2x per year) to promote the General Myers program to veterans applicants
  • Promotion of the General Myers program in literature and other forms
  • Promotion of the program via HR strategy across digital properties and platforms and in social media (especially Twitter and FB)
  • Integration into your content strategy with goal of reaching 75% of your veterans audience
Optional:
  • Graphic with link on the HR page of your web site to the General Myers Program
  • Paid media or inclusion in paid media reaching veterans
  • Joint mailing effort between two companies
  • Joint press release
How it works:
  1. HR Partners promote the Veterans Program across communication channels and directly in person.
  2. Veterans that fail to secure a job with our partners are presented with a link to apply to the General Myers Veterans Program, along with any literature, PDFs, or web site links that explain the program.
  3. Applicants from each HR Partner are tracked for success rates and lead generation purposes and shared with our Partners.
  4. MediSend reviews all applications and manages communication with prospect going forward. Applicants that fail to meet entrance criteria will be notified by MediSend with a copy going to HR Partner.
  5. Applicants that are accepted to the program are also notified, and presented with next steps to move through the program.
  6. If for any reason the program is no longer equipped to take on additional students, applicants will be wait-listed for the next available semester.

Private and Academic Partners

MediSend is currently working with corporate partners to train and graduate Biomedical Engineers under the corporate brand of our School Partners.  Requirements for Corporate School Partners are:

  • Corporate Partner Fills 24 Eligible Student Openings
  • Tuition off-set (financial support) is required by School Partners*
  • Corporate Partner works with MediSend on job placement (to be defined)
  • Corporate Partner provides MediSend with Applications. MediSend accepts based on requirements and then works with partner to fill the 24 student roster.

School Partners serve a greater good by sponsoring the education of veterans in the General Richard B Myers Veterans program.  This teach-a-man-to-fish mentality empowers our military veterans to secure well-paying jobs and provide for their loved ones

How it works:
  1. Private and Academic Partners promote the Veterans Program across multiple communication channels and on premise (campus or company offices).
  2. Corporation and University take on responsibility to find, attract, and enroll students in a private labelled or sponsored segment of the General Myers Veterans Program. MediSend will provide any literature, PDFs, or web site links that explain the program, all of which will be outlined in a kick-off call with our Partners.
  3. Applicants from each Partner are tracked for success rates and lead generation purposes and shared with our Partners.
  4. MediSend reviews all applications and manages communication with prospect going forward. Applicants that fail to meet entrance criteria will be notified by MediSend with a copy going to our Partner.
  5. Applicants that are accepted to the program are also notified, and presented with next steps to move through the program.

*Tuition off-set is the amount of tuition and fees not covered by existing funding programs in place.
